Ellen Bradbury-Reid

As executive director of Recursos, Ellen strives to create an atmosphere that encourages an active intellectual and artistic exchange of ideas and to bridge the gap between academic and popular audiences. She has established many successful programs under her tutelage, such as the Smithsonian Institution Seminars, the Southwest Literary Center, Arts of the Americas and Natural History Study Tours. With advanced degrees in art history, Ellen is sought as a lecturer and consultant for many prestigious arts organizations around the country and has served the arts in other prominent roles, such as Director of the Museum of Fine Arts in Santa Fe, NM and Curator of Primitive Art at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts in Minneapolis, MN.

Tari Carlson

Tari is a Royal Road Tours Program Manager. She has a background working with non-profits in travel dealing in domestic and international tours. In addition to living in Santa Fe, she has also lived in Seattle and worked for a tour operator specializing in educational cruises to Antartica and the North Pole. Tari currently coordinates our east coast operations in Philadelphia.

Paula Dransfield

Paula Dransfield has been with Royal Road Tours for three years after retiring from Los Alamos National Laboratory. While at LANL she chaired the 50th anniversary of the Manhattan Project that attracted hundreds of attendees from all over the world and enjoyed the process so much that coming to work at Royal Road Tours was a natural. Since joining the organization, she's created a number of itineraries for clients, managed several tours, and took the lead in the Neutrino Santa Fe 2006 conference. The Neutrino conference included over 500 theoretical physicists from all over the world who met daily in plenary sessions, after which we were able to provide them with a number of social events at various venues in Santa Fe.

Paula has a BA from Scripps College, Claremont, California with a double major in humanities and theater. She has done graduate work at the University of Denver and University of New Mexico. She is a life long resident of New Mexico.
